Lackadaisy Farm is thirty-two acres located in beautiful Northeast Ohio, zone 6a. Recently purchased by our son Cody Gentry, this tract of land was left essentially unwanted and overgrown after being commercially farmed and logged out by previous owners. We hope to give back to the land by creating a small regenerative farm that sustains our family and at the same time preserves the sanctity of nature’s harmony.

The Market Garden on this farm is currently less than an acre and is only in its first year of production. Within the next 5 years this farm is expected to produce not only all natural, fresh produce – vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers – but also raw honey, eggs and various produce-based products such as fresh ground spices and herbs, tomato sauce and honey sweetened ketchup – just to name a few.

We are using all natural, regenerative processes to fuel the growing production of this farm. This entails using no-till garden beds that are compost rich and built on a foundation of recycled leaves from a local park. We are 100% chemical free! No herbicides, no pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used anywhere on this 32-acre farm.

Our Discovery

Food grown or raised with love tastes different. It tastes better. Sweeter. More satisfying. It’s even better with less interference from humans. At Lackadaisy farm, we believe in letting nature do what it does best.

We live in a natural environment with forces that we, as amazing as humans are, still cannot control and when we try often end up disrupting the natural order of things. Learning to work with nature brings balance and harmony on both sides. We as humans become healthier and more vibrant while at the same time Nature, being a little tamer, is allowed to bring balance and harmony to the natural order.

We need to be able to trust our food and food sources. We are committed to providing the community with produce grown and products produced only on our farm at a sensible and reasonable price. No outsourcing! This ensures that you actually receive fresh, local, 100% chemical free produce and products.

Family owned and operated, Lackadaisy Farm seeks to be a reliable, trustworthy, and economically viable source of all natural, soil grown produce. By enriching the land with mindful and sustainable no-till cultivation we intend to bring back the healthy, nature driven processes that will aid in growing and raising clean, chemically free, healthy food for nearby communities.
